What this website collects

Like most websites, we use Google Analytics (via Google Tag Manager) to understand how the site is used — things like which pages are visited, roughly where visitors are located, what kind of device and browser they use, and which links get clicked (for example, the "Schedule an exam" button). This information is collected using cookies and similar technologies, is aggregated and statistical in nature, and is not used by us to identify you personally.

You can limit or block cookies in your browser settings, or install Google's own Analytics opt-out browser add-on. The website works fine either way.

What this website does NOT collect

• No patient or medical information. This website has no forms and no patient accounts. Nothing you'd tell your doctor is entered, transmitted, or stored here.
• No payment information. We never see or store card numbers through this site.

Services we link to

Scheduling an exam, paying a bill, reordering contacts, and the virtual office tour all happen on separate services run by other companies. When you follow those links, the information you enter there is governed by those companies' own privacy policies, not this one. If you'd rather not use them, you can always call us instead — we'll handle it by phone.

What we don't do

• We do not sell, rent, or trade any information about our website visitors.
• We do not use website data to advertise to individual people.

Your medical privacy

Your privacy as a patient — your records, your care — is protected under our practice's Notice of Privacy Practices, which is a separate document you receive as a patient of Haywood Family Eye Care. This page covers only this website.
